Allah has created you, and then causes you to die. And some of you are left to reach the most feeble stage of life so that they may know nothing after having known much. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, Most Capable.

﴿وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ﴾ ولم تكونوا شيئا ﴿ثُمَّ یَتَوَفَّىٰكُمۡۚ﴾ عند انقضاء آجالكم ﴿وَمِنكُم مَّن یُرَدُّ إِلَىٰۤ أَرۡذَلِ ٱلۡعُمُرِ﴾ أي أخسه من الهرم والخرف ﴿لِكَیۡ لَا یَعۡلَمَ بَعۡدَ عِلۡمࣲ شَیۡـًٔاۚ﴾ قَالَ عِكْرِمَة مَنْ قَرَأَ القرآن لم يصر بهذه الحالة ﴿إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمࣱ﴾ بتدبير خلقه ﴿قَدِیرࣱ ٧٠﴾ على مايريده
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
