That was a community that had already gone before. For them is what they earned and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be accountable for what they have done.

Hao ni Ummah waliopita miongoni mwa wale waliowatangulia nyinyi. Wao wana amali zao, na nyinyi muna amali zenu. Wala hamtaulizwa kuhusu amali zao. Na wao hawataulizwa kuhusu amali zenu. Na kila mmoja atalipwa kulingana na aliyoyatenda. Mtu hateswi kwa kosa la yoyote mwengine. Na haimnufaishi mtu ila Imani yake na uchaji Mungu wake.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
