Indeed, We blessed Luqmân with wisdom, ˹saying˺, “Be grateful to Allah, for whoever is grateful, it is only for their own good. And whoever is ungrateful, then surely Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.”1

Na kwa hakika tulimpa mja mwema miongoni mwa waja wetu , naye ni Luqman, busara, nayo ni ufahamu wa Dini, akili na usawa wa maneno, na tulimwambia, «Zishukuru neema za Mwenyezi Mungu juu yako. Na Mwenye kumshukuru Mola wake, faida yake itamrudia mwenyewe, na Mwenye kukanusha neema Zake, basi Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mkwasi, Hahitaji kushukuriwa, ni Zake Yeye shukrani na sifa njema kwa kila hali.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
