اشتروا بايات الله ثمنا قليلا فصدوا عن سبيله انهم ساء ما كانوا يعملون ٩
ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٩
ٱشْتَرَوْا۟
بِـَٔايَـٰتِ
ٱللَّهِ
ثَمَنًۭا
قَلِيلًۭا
فَصَدُّوا۟
عَن
سَبِيلِهِۦٓ ۚ
إِنَّهُمْ
سَآءَ
مَا
كَانُوا۟
يَعْمَلُونَ
٩
They chose a fleeting gain over Allah’s revelations, hindering ˹others˺ from His Way. Evil indeed is what they have done!

{اشْتَرَوْا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا}
أي: اختاروا الحظ العاجل الخسيس في الدنيا. على الإيمان باللّه ورسوله، والانقياد لآيات اللّه.
{فَصَدُّوا}
بأنفسهم، وصدوا غيرهم {عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ).
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
