The Winnowing Winds
051

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

51:1

والذاريات ذروا ١

وَٱلذَّٰرِيَـٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا ١

ﯤ
ﯥ
ﯦ

By the winds scattering ˹dust˺,

فالحاملات وقرا ٢

فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ وِقْرًۭا ٢

ﯧ

ﯨ

ﯩ

and ˹the clouds˺ loaded with rain,

فالجاريات يسرا ٣

فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِ يُسْرًۭا ٣

ﯪ

ﯫ

ﯬ

and ˹the ships˺ gliding with ease,

فالمقسمات امرا ٤

فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ أَمْرًا ٤

ﯭ

ﯮ

ﯯ

and ˹the angels˺ administering affairs by ˹Allah’s˺ command!

انما توعدون لصادق ٥

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌۭ ٥

ﯰ

ﯱ

ﯲ

ﯳ

Indeed, what you are promised is true.

وان الدين لواقع ٦

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ٦

ﯴ

ﯵ

ﯶ

ﯷ

And the Judgment will certainly come to pass.
