Joseph responded, “Allah forbid that we should take other than the one with whom we found our property. Otherwise, we would surely be unjust.”

সে বলল, ‘যার নিকট আমরা আমাদের মাল পেয়েছি, তাকে ছাড়া অন্যকে রাখার অপরাধ হতে আমরা আল্লাহর কাছে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি! এরূপ করলে আমরা অবশ্যই সীমালংঘনকারী হব।’ [১]
[১] এই উত্তর এ জন্য দিলেন যে, বিনয়্যামীনকেই আটকে রাখাই তো ইউসুফ (আঃ)-এর মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল।
