اولم يروا الى ما خلق الله من شيء يتفيا ظلاله عن اليمين والشمايل سجدا لله وهم داخرون ٤٨

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍۢ يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ ظِلَـٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدًۭا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ ٤٨

أَوَلَمۡ

يَرَوۡاْ

إِلَىٰ

مَا

خَلَقَ

ٱللَّهُ

مِن

شَيۡءٖ

يَتَفَيَّؤُاْ

ظِلَٰلُهُۥ

عَنِ

ٱلۡيَمِينِ

وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ

سُجَّدٗا

لِّلَّهِ

وَهُمۡ

دَٰخِرُونَ

٤٨

آیا آنان به چیزهایی [همچون درختان و کوه‌ها] که الله آفریده است نمی‌نگرند که [چگونه با حرکت خورشید و ماه] سایه‌هایشان از راست و چپ می‌گسترد و در حالی برای الله سجده می‌کنند که [در برابر عظمتش] خاکسارند؟

yaraw

“Do they not observe...?”

This refers to the unbelievers in the third person, as in the preceding ayah.

تَرَوْا

taraw

“Do you (pl.) not observe...?”

This addresses them, and all people, using the second person plural.

These readings are complementary in meaning [Makki].
