و چون به آنان [= مشرکان] گفته میشود: «از آنچه [عذاب و سختی دنیا و آخرت] پیش رو و پشت سر دارید، پروا كنید؛ باشد که مورد رحمت قرار گیرید»، [هیچ اعتنا نمیکنند].

When they are told, ‘Beware of what lies ahead and behind you, so you may be given mercy,’ —
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
