Ibrahim 14:6 واذ قال موسى لقومه اذكروا نعمة الله عليكم اذ انجاكم من ال فرعون يسومونكم سوء العذاب ويذبحون ابناءكم ويستحيون نساءكم وفي ذالكم بلاء من ربكم عظيم ٦
وَإِذۡ
قَالَ
مُوسَىٰ
لِقَوۡمِهِ
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
نِعۡمَةَ
ٱللَّهِ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
إِذۡ
أَنجَىٰكُم
مِّنۡ
ءَالِ
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
يَسُومُونَكُمۡ
سُوٓءَ
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
وَيُذَبِّحُونَ
أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ
وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ
نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ
وَفِي
ذَٰلِكُم
بَلَآءٞ
مِّن
رَّبِّكُمۡ
عَظِيمٞ
٦
(Souviens-toi, ô Muhammad), quand Moïse dit à son peuple : « Rappelez-vous les grâces dont Allah vous a comblés, lorsqu’Il vous sauva des gens de Pharaon qui vous faisaient endurer les pires supplices, égorgeaient vos fils et laissaient vos femmes en vie. C’était là une grande épreuve (à laquelle vous soumettait) votre Seigneur. »

Allah states that Musa reminded his people about Allah's annals anddays and of Allah's favors and bounties that He bestowed on them,when He saved them from Fir` awn and his people and the tormentand disgrace they used to exert on them.
They used to slaughter whomever they could find among their sons
