Al-Kahf 18:42 واحيط بثمره فاصبح يقلب كفيه على ما انفق فيها وهي خاوية على عروشها ويقول يا ليتني لم اشرك بربي احدا ٤٢
وَأُحِيطَ
بِثَمَرِهِۦ
فَأَصۡبَحَ
يُقَلِّبُ
كَفَّيۡهِ
عَلَىٰ
مَآ
أَنفَقَ
فِيهَا
وَهِيَ
خَاوِيَةٌ
عَلَىٰ
عُرُوشِهَا
وَيَقُولُ
يَٰلَيۡتَنِي
لَمۡ
أُشۡرِكۡ
بِرَبِّيٓ
أَحَدٗا
٤٢
Et sa récolte fut ravagée. Il se mit alors à tourner et retourner ses mains regrettant les dépenses qu’il avait effectuées, cependant que les treilles (de son jardin) avaient été complètement détruites. Il disait : « Comme je voudrais, hélas, n’avoir jamais associé personne à mon Seigneur ! »

Allah says:
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِ
(So his fruits were encircled), meaning his wealth, or according to the other opinion, his crops. What is meant is that what this disbeliever was afraid of and what the believer had terrified him actually had happened. A storm struck his garden,
