Ali-'Imran 3:75 ۞ ومن اهل الكتاب من ان تامنه بقنطار يوده اليك ومنهم من ان تامنه بدينار لا يوده اليك الا ما دمت عليه قايما ذالك بانهم قالوا ليس علينا في الاميين سبيل ويقولون على الله الكذب وهم يعلمون ٧٥
۞ وَمِنۡ
أَهۡلِ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
مَنۡ
إِن
تَأۡمَنۡهُ
بِقِنطَارٖ
يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ
إِلَيۡكَ
وَمِنۡهُم
مَّنۡ
إِن
تَأۡمَنۡهُ
بِدِينَارٖ
لَّا
يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ
إِلَيۡكَ
إِلَّا
مَا
دُمۡتَ
عَلَيۡهِ
قَآئِمٗاۗ
ذَٰلِكَ
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
قَالُواْ
لَيۡسَ
عَلَيۡنَا
فِي
ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ
سَبِيلٞ
وَيَقُولُونَ
عَلَى
ٱللَّهِ
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
وَهُمۡ
يَعۡلَمُونَ
٧٥
Et parmi les gens du Livre, il y en a qui, si tu lui confies un quintal [d’or] te le rend. Mais, il y en a aussi qui, si tu lui confies un dinār, ne te le rendra que si tu l’y contrains sans relâche. Tout cela parce qu’ils disent: “Ces (Arabes) qui n’ont pas de livre n’ont aucun chemin pour nous contraindre.” Ils profèrent des mensonges contre Allah alors qu’ils savent.1

How Trustworthy Are the Jews
Allah states that there are deceitful people among the Jews. He also warns the faithful against being deceived by them, because some of them,
