Al-Bayyinah 98:1 لم يكن الذين كفروا من اهل الكتاب والمشركين منفكين حتى تاتيهم البينة ١
لَمۡ
يَكُنِ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
مِنۡ
أَهۡلِ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
مُنفَكِّينَ
حَتَّىٰ
تَأۡتِيَهُمُ
ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ

Les mécréants, parmi les gens du Livre et les idolâtres, ne pouvaient1 renoncer à leurs croyances avant d’avoir reçu une preuve d’une grande clarté :

The Messenger of Allah recited this Surah to Ubayy
Imam Ahmad recorded from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said to Ubayy bin Ka`b,
«إِنَّ اللهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَقْرَأَ عَلَيْكَ»
لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَـبِ
(Verily, Allah has commanded me
