Al-Baqarah 2:91 واذا قيل لهم امنوا بما انزل الله قالوا نومن بما انزل علينا ويكفرون بما وراءه وهو الحق مصدقا لما معهم قل فلم تقتلون انبياء الله من قبل ان كنتم مومنين ٩١
وَإِذَا
قِيلَ
لَهُمۡ
ءَامِنُواْ
بِمَآ
أَنزَلَ
ٱللَّهُ
قَالُواْ
نُؤۡمِنُ
بِمَآ
أُنزِلَ
عَلَيۡنَا
وَيَكۡفُرُونَ
بِمَا
وَرَآءَهُۥ
وَهُوَ
ٱلۡحَقُّ
مُصَدِّقٗا
لِّمَا
مَعَهُمۡۗ
قُلۡ
فَلِمَ
تَقۡتُلُونَ
أَنۢبِيَآءَ
ٱللَّهِ
مِن
قَبۡلُ
إِن
كُنتُم
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
٩١
Et quand il leur est dit : « Croyez en ce qu’Allah a fait descendre (en révélation) », ils disent : « Nous croyons à ce qui nous a été révélé. » Ils renient donc ce qui est (venu) après1 et qui est la vérité même confirmant ce qu’ils avaient déjà. Dis : « Pourquoi mettiez-vous donc à mort les Prophètes d’Allah si vous étiez croyants ? »

Although The Jews denied the Truth, They claimed to be Believers!
Allah said,
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ
(And when it is said to them), meaning, the Jews and the People of the Book,
ءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ
(Believe in what Allah has sent down) to Muhammad , believe in and follow him,
