Al-Anfal 8:43 اذ يريكهم الله في منامك قليلا ولو اراكهم كثيرا لفشلتم ولتنازعتم في الامر ولاكن الله سلم انه عليم بذات الصدور ٤٣
إِذۡ
يُرِيكَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
فِي
مَنَامِكَ
قَلِيلٗاۖ
وَلَوۡ
أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ
كَثِيرٗا
لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ
وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَمۡرِ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
سَلَّمَۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
عَلِيمُۢ
بِذَاتِ
ٱلصُّدُورِ
٤٣
Et (souviens-toi) quand, en songe, Allah te les1 montra peu nombreux. S’Il te les avait montrés nombreux, vous (les croyants) auriez lâché pied et vous vous seriez âprement disputés à propos de cette situation. Mais Allah vous épargna (cette discorde) Lui Qui Sait ce qu’il y a au fond des cœurs.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah made each Group look few in the Eye of the Other
Mujahid said, "In a dream, Allah showed the Prophet the enemy as few. The Prophet conveyed this news to his Companions and their resolve strengthened." Similar was said by Ibn Ishaq and several others. Allah said,
