At-Tawbah 9:43 عفا الله عنك لم اذنت لهم حتى يتبين لك الذين صدقوا وتعلم الكاذبين ٤٣
عَفَا
ٱللَّهُ
عَنكَ
لِمَ
أَذِنتَ
لَهُمۡ
حَتَّىٰ
يَتَبَيَّنَ
لَكَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
صَدَقُواْ
وَتَعۡلَمَ
ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
٤٣
Qu’Allah te pardonne ! Pourquoi les as-tu dispensés d’aller au combat avant de distinguer ceux d’entre eux qui disaient vrai1 de ceux qui mentaient.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that `Awn said, "Have you heard criticism softer than this, starting with forgiveness before criticism,
