At-Tawbah 9:46 ۞ ولو ارادوا الخروج لاعدوا له عدة ولاكن كره الله انبعاثهم فثبطهم وقيل اقعدوا مع القاعدين ٤٦
۞ وَلَوۡ
أَرَادُواْ
ٱلۡخُرُوجَ
لَأَعَدُّواْ
لَهُۥ
عُدَّةٗ
وَلَٰكِن
كَرِهَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمۡ
فَثَبَّطَهُمۡ
وَقِيلَ
ٱقۡعُدُواْ
مَعَ
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
٤٦
Si vraiment ils avaient voulu s’engager dans cette expédition, ils s’y seraient préparés. Mais, répugnant à les voir prendre le départ, Allah les a abandonnés à leur paresse et a décrété qu’ils devaient rester à l’arrière avec ceux qui sont exemptés1.

Allah said,
وَلَوْ أَرَادُواْ الْخُرُوجَ
(And if they had intended to march out,), with you to participate in Jihad
لأَعَدُّواْ لَهُ عُدَّةً
(certainly, they would have made some preparation for it) they would have prepared for such task,
وَلَـكِن كَرِهَ اللَّهُ انبِعَاثَهُمْ
