At-Tawbah 9:52 قل هل تربصون بنا الا احدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم ان يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده او بايدينا فتربصوا انا معكم متربصون ٥٢
قُلۡ
هَلۡ
تَرَبَّصُونَ
بِنَآ
إِلَّآ
إِحۡدَى
ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ
وَنَحۡنُ
نَتَرَبَّصُ
بِكُمۡ
أَن
يُصِيبَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِعَذَابٖ
مِّنۡ
عِندِهِۦٓ
أَوۡ
بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
مَعَكُم
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
٥٢
Dis : « Que pouvez-vous d’ailleurs espérer qu’il nous arrive sinon l’un des deux heureux événements, la victoire ou le martyre ? Quant à nous, nous espérons qu’Allah vous châtiera Lui-même ou par notre intermédiaire. Attendez donc, nous attendons avec vous ! »

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
قُلْ
(Say), O Muhammad to them,
هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ
(Do you wait for us), anything,
إِلاَ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ
(except one of the two best things), martyrdom or victory over you, according to the meaning given by Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, Qatadah, and others.
وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ
(while we awai
