Al-Isra' 17:67 واذا مسكم الضر في البحر ضل من تدعون الا اياه فلما نجاكم الى البر اعرضتم وكان الانسان كفورا ٦٧
وَإِذَا
مَسَّكُمُ
ٱلضُّرُّ
فِي
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
ضَلَّ
مَن
تَدۡعُونَ
إِلَّآ
إِيَّاهُۖ
فَلَمَّا
نَجَّىٰكُمۡ
إِلَى
ٱلۡبَرِّ
أَعۡرَضۡتُمۡۚ
وَكَانَ
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
كَفُورًا
٦٧
Lorsque vous courez un danger en mer, vous oubliez les fausses divinités que vous invoquiez, vos prières se tournant exclusivement vers le Seigneur. Mais dès qu’Il vous a ramenés sains et saufs à terre, vous vous détournez de Lui. L’homme est par nature ingrat.

When Harm befalls Them, the Disbelievers do not remember anyone except Allah
Allah tells us that when harm befalls people, they call on Him, turning to Him and sincerely beseeching Him. Hence Allah says:
وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الْضُّرُّ فِى الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلاَ إِيَّاهُ
