Al-Anbiya' 21:97 واقترب الوعد الحق فاذا هي شاخصة ابصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هاذا بل كنا ظالمين ٩٧
وَٱقۡتَرَبَ
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
ٱلۡحَقُّ
فَإِذَا
هِيَ
شَٰخِصَةٌ
أَبۡصَٰرُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
يَٰوَيۡلَنَا
قَدۡ
كُنَّا
فِي
غَفۡلَةٖ
مِّنۡ
هَٰذَا
بَلۡ
كُنَّا
ظَٰلِمِينَ
٩٧
la promesse du Seigneur sera sur le point de s’accomplir1. Les mécréants, regards figés de terreur, s’écrieront alors : « Malheur à nous ! Nous avons vécu dans l’insouciance de ce Jour. Pire, nous avons été injustes envers nous-mêmes. »

Those who have been destroyed, will never return to this World.
وَحَرَامٌ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ
(And a ban is laid on every town) Ibn `Abbas said, "it is enforced", i.e., it has been decreed that the people of each township that has been destroyed will never return to this world before the Day of Resurrectio
