Tafsir: Al-Hachr 59:22

59:22

هو الله الذي لا الاه الا هو عالم الغيب والشهادة هو الرحمان الرحيم ٢٢

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٢٢

هُوَ

ٱللَّهُ

ٱلَّذِي

لَآ

إِلَٰهَ

إِلَّا

هُوَۖ

عَٰلِمُ

ٱلۡغَيۡبِ

وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِۖ

هُوَ

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ

ٱلرَّحِيمُ

٢٢

C’est Lui Allah. Nulle divinité autre que Lui, le Connaisseur de l’Invisible tout comme du visible. C’est Lui, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux.

A Few of Allah's Attributes of Perfection

Having urged the people to be concerned about the Hereafter and having asserted the greatness of the Qur'an, this Surah is concluded with a few of Allah's attributes of perfection, as follows:

الِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ (...the Knower of the unseen and the seen - 22). The attribute 'the Knower of the Unseen and the seen' means that Allah knows all things, visible or invisible.
