Az-Zuhruf 43:24 ۞ قال اولو جيتكم باهدى مما وجدتم عليه اباءكم قالوا انا بما ارسلتم به كافرون ٢٤
۞ قَٰلَ
أَوَلَوۡ
جِئۡتُكُم
بِأَهۡدَىٰ
مِمَّا
وَجَدتُّمۡ
عَلَيۡهِ
ءَابَآءَكُمۡۖ
قَالُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
بِمَآ
أُرۡسِلۡتُم
بِهِۦ
كَٰفِرُونَ
٢٤
(Le Messager avertisseur leur) disait : « Et si je vous proposais meilleure direction que celle dans laquelle vous avez trouvé engagés vos ancêtres ? » (Les nantis) répondaient alors : « Nous mécroyons certes en ce message qui est le vôtre. »

The Idolators have no Proof
Allah condemns the idolators for worshipping others instead of Allah with no evidence or proof for doing so.
أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَـهُمْ كِتَـباً مِّن قَبْلِهِ
(Or have We given them any Book before this) means, before their idolatry.
فَهُم بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
(to which they are hold
