Saba' 34:54 وحيل بينهم وبين ما يشتهون كما فعل باشياعهم من قبل انهم كانوا في شك مريب ٥٤
وَحِيلَ
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
وَبَيۡنَ
مَا
يَشۡتَهُونَ
كَمَا
فُعِلَ
بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم
مِّن
قَبۡلُۚ
إِنَّهُمۡ
كَانُواْ
فِي
شَكّٖ
مُّرِيبِۭ
٥٤
On les empêchera d’atteindre ce qu’ils désirent, comme cela fut fait auparavant avec leurs semblables, car ils se trouvaient dans un doute profond.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
(and they will be seized from a near place.) means, they will not even be given the slightest chance of escape, but they will be seized from the first instant. Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: "When they come forth from their graves."
