Al-Qasas 28:53 واذا يتلى عليهم قالوا امنا به انه الحق من ربنا انا كنا من قبله مسلمين ٥٣
وَإِذَا
يُتۡلَىٰ
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
قَالُوٓاْ
ءَامَنَّا
بِهِۦٓ
إِنَّهُ
ٱلۡحَقُّ
مِن
رَّبِّنَآ
إِنَّا
كُنَّا
مِن
قَبۡلِهِۦ
مُسۡلِمِينَ
٥٣
Dan apabila dibacakan (Al-Qur`ān itu) kepada mereka, mereka berkata, "Kami beriman kepadanya; sesungguhnya Al-Qur`ān itu adalah suatu kebenaran dari Tuhan kami, sesungguhnya kami sebelumnya adalah orang-orang yang membenarkan(nya).

The Believers among the People of the Book
Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite
