Al-Furqan 25:21 ۞ وقال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا لولا انزل علينا الملايكة او نرى ربنا لقد استكبروا في انفسهم وعتوا عتوا كبيرا ٢١
۞ وَقَالَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
لَا
يَرۡجُونَ
لِقَآءَنَا
لَوۡلَآ
أُنزِلَ
عَلَيۡنَا
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
أَوۡ
نَرَىٰ
رَبَّنَاۗ
لَقَدِ
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
فِيٓ
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
وَعَتَوۡ
عُتُوّٗا
كَبِيرٗا
٢١
Berkatalah orang-orang yang tidak menanti-nanti pertemuan(nya) dengan Kami, "Mengapakah tidak diturunkan kepada kita malaikat atau (mengapa) kita (tidak) melihat Tuhan kita?" Sesungguhnya, mereka memandang besar tentang diri mereka dan mereka benar-benar telah melampaui batas(dalam melakukan) kezaliman.

The Stubbornness of the Disbelievers
Allah describes how stubborn the disbelievers were in their disbelief when they said:
لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا
(Why are not the angels sent down to us,) meaning, `so that we may see them with our own eyes and they may tell us that Muhammad ﷺ is the Messe
