Al-Furqan 25:21 ۞ وقال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا لولا انزل علينا الملايكة او نرى ربنا لقد استكبروا في انفسهم وعتوا عتوا كبيرا ٢١
۞ وَقَالَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
لَا
يَرۡجُونَ
لِقَآءَنَا
لَوۡلَآ
أُنزِلَ
عَلَيۡنَا
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
أَوۡ
نَرَىٰ
رَبَّنَاۗ
لَقَدِ
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
فِيٓ
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
وَعَتَوۡ
عُتُوّٗا
كَبِيرٗا
٢١
Dan orang-orang yang tidak mengharapkan pertemuan dengan Kami (di akhirat) berkata, "Mengapa bukan para malaikat yang diturunkan kepada kita atau (mengapa) kita (tidak) melihat Tuhan kita?” Sungguh, mereka telah menyombongkan diri mereka dan benar-benar telah melampaui batas (dalam melakukan kezaliman).

The Stubbornness of the Disbelievers
Allah describes how stubborn the disbelievers were in their disbelief when they said:
لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا
(Why are not the angels sent down to us,) meaning, `so that we may see them with our own eyes and they may tell us that Muhammad ﷺ is the Messe
