Saba' 34:54 وحيل بينهم وبين ما يشتهون كما فعل باشياعهم من قبل انهم كانوا في شك مريب ٥٤

بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم
مِّن
قَبۡلُۚ
إِنَّهُمۡ
كَانُواْ

شَكّٖ
مُّرِيبِۭ

Dan diberi penghalang antara mereka dengan apa yang mereka inginkan1 sebagaimana yang dilakukan terhadap orang-orang yang sekelompok dengan mereka yang terdahulu. Sesungguhnya mereka dahulu (di dunia) dalam keraguan yang mendalam.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
(and they will be seized from a near place.) means, they will not even be given the slightest chance of escape, but they will be seized from the first instant. Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: "When they come forth from their graves."
