Al-Baqarah 2:234 والذين يتوفون منكم ويذرون ازواجا يتربصن بانفسهن اربعة اشهر وعشرا فاذا بلغن اجلهن فلا جناح عليكم فيما فعلن في انفسهن بالمعروف والله بما تعملون خبير ٢٣٤
وَٱلَّذِينَ
يُتَوَفَّوۡنَ
مِنكُمۡ
وَيَذَرُونَ
أَزۡوَٰجٗا
يَتَرَبَّصۡنَ
بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ
أَرۡبَعَةَ
أَشۡهُرٖ
وَعَشۡرٗاۖ
فَإِذَا
بَلَغۡنَ
أَجَلَهُنَّ
فَلَا
جُنَاحَ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
فِيمَا
فَعَلۡنَ
فِيٓ
أَنفُسِهِنَّ
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
بِمَا
تَعۡمَلُونَ
خَبِيرٞ
٢٣٤
Orang-orang yang meninggal dunia di antaramu dengan meninggalkan istri-istri (hendaklah para istri itu) menangguhkan dirinya (beridah) empat bulan sepuluh hari. Kemudian apabila telah habis idahnya, maka tiada dosa bagimu (para wali) membiarkan mereka berbuat terhadap diri mereka1 menurut yang patut. Allah mengetahui apa yang kamu perbuat.
