Tafsir: Al-Qalam 68:48

فاصبر لحكم ربك ولا تكن كصاحب الحوت اذ نادى وهو مكظوم ٤٨

فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلْحُوتِ إِذْ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌۭ ٤٨

فَٱصۡبِرۡ

لِحُكۡمِ

رَبِّكَ

وَلَا

تَكُن

كَصَاحِبِ

ٱلۡحُوتِ

إِذۡ

نَادَىٰ

وَهُوَ

مَكۡظُومٞ

٤٨

So be patient with your Lord’s decree, and do not be like ˹Jonah,˺ the Man of the Whale, who cried out ˹to Allah˺, in total distress.¹
