Al-A'raf 7:163 واسالهم عن القرية التي كانت حاضرة البحر اذ يعدون في السبت اذ تاتيهم حيتانهم يوم سبتهم شرعا ويوم لا يسبتون لا تاتيهم كذالك نبلوهم بما كانوا يفسقون ١٦٣
وَسۡـَٔلۡهُمۡ
عَنِ
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
ٱلَّتِي
كَانَتۡ
حَاضِرَةَ
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
إِذۡ
يَعۡدُونَ
فِي
ٱلسَّبۡتِ
إِذۡ
تَأۡتِيهِمۡ
حِيتَانُهُمۡ
يَوۡمَ
سَبۡتِهِمۡ
شُرَّعٗا
وَيَوۡمَ
لَا
يَسۡبِتُونَ
لَا
تَأۡتِيهِمۡۚ
كَذَٰلِكَ
نَبۡلُوهُم
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَفۡسُقُونَ
١٦٣
Chiedi loro a proposito della città sul mare in cui veniva trasgredito il sabato, [chiedi] dei pesci che salivano alla superficie nel giorno del sabato e che invece non affioravano negli altri giorni! Così li mettemmo alla prova, perché dimostrassero la loro empietà 1 .

The Jews transgress the Sanctity of the Sabbath
This Ayah explains Allah's statement,
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِينَ اعْتَدَواْ مِنكُمْ فِى السَّبْتِ
