Al-Ghashiyah 88:26 ثم ان علينا حسابهم ٢٦
ثُمَّ
إِنَّ
عَلَيۡنَا
حِسَابَهُم
٢٦
e allora spetterà a Noi chieder loro conto [delle loro azioni]. 1 «l’Avvolgente»:senza alcun dubbio è l’ora del Giudizio. Il termine «al-ghâshiya» che abbiamo tradotto con «avvolgente» significa coprire, avvolgere, attaccare il nemico da ogni lato. 2 «darì‘»: pianta spinosa e amarissima tipica dei deserti. 3 «Non considerano [quelli che non credono]…» 4 «infisse le montagne»: vedi nota a xvi,5 «non hai autorità alcuna su di loro» nel senso di: «non hai nessun potere per costringere chi non crede a farlo». Per quanto riguarda il concetto di autorità letteralmente inteso, si consideri che la sura è meccana (pre-Egira) e che Muhammad (pace e benedizioni su di lui) a cui si rivolge il Sacro testo, non era ancora a capo di una comunità organizzata di credenti.

The Exhortation to look at the Creation of the Camel, the Heaven, the Mountains and the Earth
