Ibrahim 14:44 وانذر الناس يوم ياتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا اخرنا الى اجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل اولم تكونوا اقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال ٤٤
وَأَنذِرِ
ٱلنَّاسَ
يَوۡمَ
يَأۡتِيهِمُ
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
فَيَقُولُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
ظَلَمُواْ
رَبَّنَآ
أَخِّرۡنَآ
إِلَىٰٓ
أَجَلٖ
قَرِيبٖ
نُّجِبۡ
دَعۡوَتَكَ
وَنَتَّبِعِ
ٱلرُّسُلَۗ
أَوَلَمۡ
تَكُونُوٓاْ
أَقۡسَمۡتُم
مِّن
قَبۡلُ
مَا
لَكُم
مِّن
زَوَالٖ
٤٤
En waarschuw de mensheid voor de Dag wanneer de bestraffing tot hen zal komen; dan zullen de zondaren zeggen: “Onze Heer! Geef ons nog een klein beetje uitstel, wij zullen Uw oproep beantwoorden en de Boodschappers volgen!” (Er zal tot hen gezegd worden): “Hebben jullie vroeger niet gezworen dat jullie (de wereld niet voor het Hiernamaals) zullen verlaten?”

There will be no Respite after the Coming of the Torment
Allah mentions what those who committed injustice against themselves will say when they witness the torment,
رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ
(Our Lord! Respite us for a little while, we will answe
