Al-Hajj 22:48 وكاين من قرية امليت لها وهي ظالمة ثم اخذتها والي المصير ٤٨
وَكَأَيِّن
مِّن
قَرۡيَةٍ
أَمۡلَيۡتُ
لَهَا
وَهِيَ
ظَالِمَةٞ
ثُمَّ
أَخَذۡتُهَا
وَإِلَيَّ
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
٤٨
En vele steden heb Ik uitstel gegeven terwijl het aan de zonden was overgedaan. Dan greep Ik hen (met bestraffing). En tot Mij is de terugkeer.

Here Allah consoles His Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for the disbelief of those among his people who opposed him.
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ
