Ash-Shu'ara 26:139 فكذبوه فاهلكناهم ان في ذالك لاية وما كان اكثرهم مومنين ١٣٩
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ
إِنَّ
فِي
ذَٰلِكَ
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
وَمَا
كَانَ
أَكۡثَرُهُم
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
١٣٩
Dus verloochenden zij hem en Wij vernietigenden hen. Waarlijk! Hierin is zeker een Teken maar de meesten van hen waren geen gelovigen.

Allah tells us how the people of Hud responded to him after he had warned them, encouraged them, and clearly explained the truth to them.
