Al-Ma'idah 5:27 ۞ واتل عليهم نبا ابني ادم بالحق اذ قربا قربانا فتقبل من احدهما ولم يتقبل من الاخر قال لاقتلنك قال انما يتقبل الله من المتقين ٢٧
۞ وَٱتۡلُ
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
نَبَأَ
ٱبۡنَيۡ
ءَادَمَ
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
إِذۡ
قَرَّبَا
قُرۡبَانٗا
فَتُقُبِّلَ
مِنۡ
أَحَدِهِمَا
وَلَمۡ
يُتَقَبَّلۡ
مِنَ
ٱلۡأٓخَرِ
قَالَ
لَأَقۡتُلَنَّكَۖ
قَالَ
إِنَّمَا
يَتَقَبَّلُ
ٱللَّهُ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

En reciteer voor hen in waarheid het verhaal van de twee zonen van Adam, toen ieder een offer (aan Allah) bracht. Van één van hen (Abel) werd het aanvaard maar van de ander (Kaїn) niet. De laatste zei tegen de eerste: “Ik zal jou zeker doden.” De eerste zei: “Waarlijk, Allah accepteert slechts van degenen die godvrezend zijn.
