Al-Kahf 18:42 واحيط بثمره فاصبح يقلب كفيه على ما انفق فيها وهي خاوية على عروشها ويقول يا ليتني لم اشرك بربي احدا ٤٢
وَأُحِيطَ
بِثَمَرِهِۦ
فَأَصۡبَحَ
يُقَلِّبُ
كَفَّيۡهِ
عَلَىٰ
مَآ
أَنفَقَ
فِيهَا
وَهِيَ
خَاوِيَةٌ
عَلَىٰ
عُرُوشِهَا
وَيَقُولُ
يَٰلَيۡتَنِي
لَمۡ
أُشۡرِكۡ
بِرَبِّيٓ
أَحَدٗا
٤٢
En zijn vruchten werden vernietigd. Toen begon hij zich in zijn handen te wringen, over wat hij ervoor uitgegeven had en dat zij (de tuinen) nu tot de bodem toe geruïneerd waren." En hij zei: "Wee mij, had ik maar mijn Heer niet één deelgenoot toegekend!"

The Evil Results of Kufr
Allah says:
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِ
(So his fruits were encircled), meaning his wealth, or according to the other opinion, his crops. What is meant is that what this disbeliever was afraid of and what the believer had terrified him actually had happened. A storm struck his garden,
