Al-Anbiya 21:42 قل من يكلوكم بالليل والنهار من الرحمان بل هم عن ذكر ربهم معرضون ٤٢
قُلۡ
مَن
يَكۡلَؤُكُم
بِٱلَّيۡلِ
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
مِنَ
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ
بَلۡ
هُمۡ
عَن
ذِكۡرِ
رَبِّهِم
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
٤٢
Zeg: “Wie kan jullie dag en nacht beschermen en behoeden tegen de (bestraffing van de) Barmhartige?” Nee, maar zij keren zich af van de Overdenking van hun Heer.

Allah says consoling His Messenger for the pain and insult caused by the mockery and disbelief of the idolators,
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِىءَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِء
