Saba 34:12 ولسليمان الريح غدوها شهر ورواحها شهر واسلنا له عين القطر ومن الجن من يعمل بين يديه باذن ربه ومن يزغ منهم عن امرنا نذقه من عذاب السعير ١٢
وَلِسُلَيۡمَٰنَ
ٱلرِّيحَ
غُدُوُّهَا
شَهۡرٞ
وَرَوَاحُهَا
شَهۡرٞۖ
وَأَسَلۡنَا
لَهُۥ
عَيۡنَ
ٱلۡقِطۡرِۖ
وَمِنَ
ٱلۡجِنِّ
مَن
يَعۡمَلُ
بَيۡنَ
يَدَيۡهِ
بِإِذۡنِ
رَبِّهِۦۖ
وَمَن
يَزِغۡ
مِنۡهُمۡ
عَنۡ
أَمۡرِنَا
نُذِقۡهُ
مِنۡ
عَذَابِ
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
١٢
En voor Soeleiman (hebben Wij) de winden (onderworpen), het waaien ervan in de ochtend duurt een maand en in de middag duurt het een maand. En Wij deden een bron van gesmolten brons voor hem vloeien. En er waren Djinn die voor hem (Soeleiman) werkten, met de goedkeuring van zijn Heer. En elke (Djinn) die zich van Ons bevel afkeert, zullen Wij (in het Hiernamaals) de bestraffing van het laaiende vuur laten proeven .

The Favors which Allah bestowed upon Sulayman
Having mentioned the blessings with which He favored Dawud, Allah follows this by mentioning what He gave to Dawud's son Sulayman (Solomon), may peace be upon them both. He subjugated the wind to him, so that it would carry his carpet one way for a month,
