Saba 34:13 يعملون له ما يشاء من محاريب وتماثيل وجفان كالجواب وقدور راسيات اعملوا ال داوود شكرا وقليل من عبادي الشكور ١٣
يَعۡمَلُونَ
لَهُۥ
مَا
يَشَآءُ
مِن
مَّحَٰرِيبَ
وَتَمَٰثِيلَ
وَجِفَانٖ
كَٱلۡجَوَابِ
وَقُدُورٖ
رَّاسِيَٰتٍۚ
ٱعۡمَلُوٓاْ
ءَالَ
دَاوُۥدَ
شُكۡرٗاۚ
وَقَلِيلٞ
مِّنۡ
عِبَادِيَ
ٱلشَّكُورُ
١٣
Zij maakten voor hem werken "die hij wenste: (toren)hoge gebouwen, beelden (van zilver, glas en marmer), schalen zo groot als vijvers (waaruit wel duizend man konden eten) en onverplaatsbare (kook)potten (als bewijs voor hun krachten). (Allah zei:) “Werk O familie van Dawoed, uit dankbaarheid!” Maar weinig van Mijn dienaren zijn dankbaren.

The Favors which Allah bestowed upon Sulayman
Having mentioned the blessings with which He favored Dawud, Allah follows this by mentioning what He gave to Dawud's son Sulayman (Solomon), may peace be upon them both. He subjugated the wind to him, so that it would carry his carpet one way for a month,
