Al-A'raf 7:72 فانجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا باياتنا وما كانوا مومنين ٧٢
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
مَعَهُۥ
بِرَحۡمَةٖ
مِّنَّا
وَقَطَعۡنَا
دَابِرَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَذَّبُواْ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۖ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
٧٢
Toen redden Wij hem (Hôed) en degenen met hem door Genade van Ons en Wij roeiden degenen die Onze Tekenen loochenden geheel uit. En zij plachten geen gelovigen te zijn.

Allah mentions the rebellion, defiance and stubbornness of Hud'speople, and their opposition to him, peace be upon him,
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ
(They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone") Later on, the disbelievers of Quraysh said,
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللّ
