Tafseer: An-Nisa 4:119

ولاضلنهم ولامنينهم ولامرنهم فليبتكن اذان الانعام ولامرنهم فليغيرن خلق الله ومن يتخذ الشيطان وليا من دون الله فقد خسر خسرانا مبينا ١١٩

وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ وَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ وَلِيًّۭا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًۭا مُّبِينًۭا ١١٩

وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمۡ

وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمۡ

وَلَأٓمُرَنَّهُمۡ

فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ

ءَاذَانَ

ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ

وَلَأٓمُرَنَّهُمۡ

فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ

خَلۡقَ

ٱللَّهِۚ

وَمَن

يَتَّخِذِ

ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ

وَلِيّٗا

مِّن

دُونِ

ٱللَّهِ

فَقَدۡ

خَسِرَ

خُسۡرَانٗا

مُّبِينٗا

١١٩

Waarlijk, ik zal hen misleiden (en doen afdwalen van het rechte Pad). En ik zal hun ijdelheid opwekkenen en ik zal hen bevelen om de oren van het vee te snijden (tegen de wetten van Allah in). En voorwaar, ik zal hen bevelen om Allah’s schepping te veranderen (en geweld aan te doen).” En al wie Sjaitaan (blindelings en gehoorzaam) als beschermheer verkiest boven Allah, heeft zeker (en ongetwijfeld) een duidelijk verlies geleden (zowel in dit leven als in het Hiernamaals).

Man’s real challenge in this world is from Satan. Though Satan has no real power, he can lure human beings with fanciful promises to fulfil wishful, imaginary desires and thus manage to make them deviate from the straight path of truth. Satan’s way of misguiding is of two main types: one is superstition and the other is interference in God’s creation. Faith in superstition means expectation of such results from something as have no relation with that thing.
