An-Nisa 4:16 واللذان ياتيانها منكم فاذوهما فان تابا واصلحا فاعرضوا عنهما ان الله كان توابا رحيما ١٦
وَٱلَّذَانِ
يَأۡتِيَٰنِهَا
مِنكُمۡ
فَـَٔاذُوهُمَاۖ
فَإِن
تَابَا
وَأَصۡلَحَا
فَأَعۡرِضُواْ
عَنۡهُمَآۗ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
كَانَ
تَوَّابٗا
رَّحِيمًا
١٦
En de twee personen onder jullie die overspel plegen, straf hen beiden. En als zij berouw tonen en goede daden verrichten, laat hen dan alleen. Waarlijk, Allah is altijd degene Die berouw accepteert (en Hij is) de Barmhartigste.

The Adulteress is Confined in her House; A Command Later Abrogated
At the begining of Islam, the ruling was that if a woman commits adultery as stipulated by sufficient proof, she was confined to her home, without leave, until she died. Allah said,
وَاللَـتِى يَأْتِينَ الْفَـحِشَةَ
يعني الزنا
مِن نِّسَآ
