At-Tawbah 9:25 لقد نصركم الله في مواطن كثيرة ويوم حنين اذ اعجبتكم كثرتكم فلم تغن عنكم شييا وضاقت عليكم الارض بما رحبت ثم وليتم مدبرين ٢٥
لَقَدۡ
نَصَرَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
فِي
مَوَاطِنَ
كَثِيرَةٖ
وَيَوۡمَ
حُنَيۡنٍ
إِذۡ
أَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡ
كَثۡرَتُكُمۡ
فَلَمۡ
تُغۡنِ
عَنكُمۡ
شَيۡـٔٗا
وَضَاقَتۡ
عَلَيۡكُمُ
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
بِمَا
رَحُبَتۡ
ثُمَّ
وَلَّيۡتُم
مُّدۡبِرِينَ
٢٥
Zeker, Allah heeft jullie de overwinning op vele (doorslaggevende) veldslagen gegeven, en op de dag van Hoenayn, toen jullie verheugd waren over jullie grote aantallen, (n.l. . strijders) maar dat jullie niet baatte (vanwege hun blakend zelfvertrouwen). En de aarde, met al haar wijdsheid, werd jullie nauw, waardoor jullie (het slagveld) de rug toekeerden en op de vlucht sloegen (voor de minder talrijke vijand).
