At-Tawbah 9:42 لو كان عرضا قريبا وسفرا قاصدا لاتبعوك ولاكن بعدت عليهم الشقة وسيحلفون بالله لو استطعنا لخرجنا معكم يهلكون انفسهم والله يعلم انهم لكاذبون ٤٢
لَوۡ
كَانَ
عَرَضٗا
قَرِيبٗا
وَسَفَرٗا
قَاصِدٗا
لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ
وَلَٰكِنۢ
بَعُدَتۡ
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ٱلشُّقَّةُۚ
وَسَيَحۡلِفُونَ
بِٱللَّهِ
لَوِ
ٱسۡتَطَعۡنَا
لَخَرَجۡنَا
مَعَكُمۡ
يُهۡلِكُونَ
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
وَٱللَّهُ
يَعۡلَمُ
إِنَّهُمۡ
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
٤٢
Als het een gemakkelijke winst was of een gemakkelijke reis, dan zouden zij (dit stuk gaat nu over de huichelaars die dus de Islam uiten en van binnen twijfels hebben maar toch meedoen) jou gevolgd zijn, maar de afstand was lang voor hen en zij zouden bij Allah zweren: “Als wij maar gekund hadden dan zouden wij zeker met jullie zijn meegegaan.” Zij vernielen zichzelf en Allah weet dat het leugenaars zijn.
