At-Tawbah 9:43 عفا الله عنك لم اذنت لهم حتى يتبين لك الذين صدقوا وتعلم الكاذبين ٤٣
عَفَا
ٱللَّهُ
عَنكَ
لِمَ
أَذِنتَ
لَهُمۡ
حَتَّىٰ
يَتَبَيَّنَ
لَكَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
صَدَقُواْ
وَتَعۡلَمَ
ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
٤٣
Moge Allah jou (Mohammed) vergeven. Waarom heb je hen toestemming gegeven (om achter te blijven), nog vόόr dat jou was gebleken wie degenen waren die waarachtig waren en vόόr jij wist wie de leugenaars waren?

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that `Awn said, "Have you heard criticism softer than this, starting with forgiveness before criticism,
