At-Tawbah 9:46 ۞ ولو ارادوا الخروج لاعدوا له عدة ولاكن كره الله انبعاثهم فثبطهم وقيل اقعدوا مع القاعدين ٤٦
۞ وَلَوۡ
أَرَادُواْ
ٱلۡخُرُوجَ
لَأَعَدُّواْ
لَهُۥ
عُدَّةٗ
وَلَٰكِن
كَرِهَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمۡ
فَثَبَّطَهُمۡ
وَقِيلَ
ٱقۡعُدُواْ
مَعَ
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
٤٦
En als zij de bedoeling hadden om te vertrekken, zouden zij daar zeker voorbereidingen voor maken. Maar Allah was ertegen dat zij voort werden gestuurd, Hij liet hen dus achter en er werd gezegd: “Zit met de zittenden.”

Allah said,
وَلَوْ أَرَادُواْ الْخُرُوجَ
(And if they had intended to march out,), with you to participate in Jihad
لأَعَدُّواْ لَهُ عُدَّةً
(certainly, they would have made some preparation for it) they would have prepared for such task,
وَلَـكِن كَرِهَ اللَّهُ انبِعَاثَهُمْ
