Al-An'am 6:25 ومنهم من يستمع اليك وجعلنا على قلوبهم اكنة ان يفقهوه وفي اذانهم وقرا وان يروا كل اية لا يومنوا بها حتى اذا جاءوك يجادلونك يقول الذين كفروا ان هاذا الا اساطير الاولين ٢٥
وَمِنۡهُم
مَّن
يَسۡتَمِعُ
إِلَيۡكَۖ
وَجَعَلۡنَا
عَلَىٰ
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
أَكِنَّةً
أَن
يَفۡقَهُوهُ
وَفِيٓ
ءَاذَانِهِمۡ
وَقۡرٗاۚ
وَإِن
يَرَوۡاْ
كُلَّ
ءَايَةٖ
لَّا
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
بِهَاۖ
حَتَّىٰٓ
إِذَا
جَآءُوكَ
يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ
يَقُولُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوٓاْ
إِنۡ
هَٰذَآ
إِلَّآ
أَسَٰطِيرُ
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
٢٥
En onder hen zijn or die naar jou luisteren, maar Wij hebben over hun harten sluiers aangebracht zodat zij het (de Koran) niet begrijpen en in hun oren proppen. En indien zij ieder Teken zagen, zouden zij er niet in geloven, zelfs in die mate dat wanneer zij tot jou komen om met jou te redetwisten, degenen die ongelovig zijn zeggen: "Dit zijn slechts fabels van de ouden."

The Polythiests Shall be Questioned About the Shirk They Committed
About the polytheists, Allah said:
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعاً
(And on the Day when We shall gather them all together,) This is on the Day of Resurrection, when He will ask them about the idols and rivals that they worshipped instead
