Ghafir 40:21 ۞ اولم يسيروا في الارض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين كانوا من قبلهم كانوا هم اشد منهم قوة واثارا في الارض فاخذهم الله بذنوبهم وما كان لهم من الله من واق ٢١
۞ أَوَلَمۡ
يَسِيرُواْ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
فَيَنظُرُواْ
كَيۡفَ
كَانَ
عَٰقِبَةُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَانُواْ
مِن
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
كَانُواْ
هُمۡ
أَشَدَّ
مِنۡهُمۡ
قُوَّةٗ
وَءَاثَارٗا
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
وَمَا
كَانَ
لَهُم
مِّنَ
ٱللَّهِ
مِن
وَاقٖ
٢١
Reizen zij niet op de aarde zodat zij zien hoe het einde was van degenen vóór hen? Zij overtroffen hen in macht en in gebouwen op de aarde. Maar Allah greep hen wegens hun zonden en er was voor hen geen beschermer tegen Allah.

The Severe Punishment for the Disbelievers
أَوَلَمْ يَسيرُواْ
(Have they not traveled), `these people who disbelieve in your Message, O Muhammad,'
فِى الاٌّرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ كَانُواْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ
(in the land and seen what was the end of those who were before them) mea
