اولم يروا الى ما خلق الله من شيء يتفيا ظلاله عن اليمين والشمايل سجدا لله وهم داخرون ٤٨

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍۢ يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ ظِلَـٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدًۭا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ ٤٨

أَوَلَمۡ

يَرَوۡاْ

إِلَىٰ

مَا

خَلَقَ

ٱللَّهُ

مِن

شَيۡءٖ

يَتَفَيَّؤُاْ

ظِلَٰلُهُۥ

عَنِ

ٱلۡيَمِينِ

وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ

سُجَّدٗا

لِّلَّهِ

وَهُمۡ

دَٰخِرُونَ

٤٨

Hebben zij niet de zaken gezien die Allah geschapen heeft, (hoe) hun schaduwen van links naar rechts gaan, terwijl zij knielen voor Allah maken en nederig zijn?

This refers to the unbelievers in the third person, as in the preceding ayah.

تَرَوْا

taraw

“Do you (pl.) not observe...?”

This addresses them, and all people, using the second person plural.
