Translation
21:58
فجعلهم جذاذا الا كبيرا لهم لعلهم اليه يرجعون ٥٨
فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَٰذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًۭا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ ٥٨
ﭑ
ﭒ
ﭓ
ﭔ
ﭕ
ﭖ
ﭗ
ﭘ
ﭙ
So he smashed them into pieces, except the biggest of them, so they might turn to it ˹for answers˺.

قالوا من فعل هاذا بالهتنا انه لمن الظالمين ٥٩
قَالُوا۟ مَن فَعَلَ هَـٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ٥٩

ﭜ
ﭝ
ﭞ
ﭟ
ﭠ

They protested, “Who dared do this to our gods? It must be an evildoer!”

قالوا سمعنا فتى يذكرهم يقال له ابراهيم ٦٠
قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا فَتًۭى يَذْكُرُهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُۥٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ ٦٠

Some said, “We heard a young man, called Abraham, speaking ˹ill˺ of them.”

قالوا فاتوا به على اعين الناس لعلهم يشهدون ٦١
قَالُوا۟ فَأْتُوا۟ بِهِۦ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِ ٱلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُونَ ٦١

ﭯ

ﭲ
ﭳ
They demanded, “Bring him before the eyes of the people, so that they may witness ˹his trial˺.”

قالوا اانت فعلت هاذا بالهتنا يا ابراهيم ٦٢
قَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَنتَ فَعَلْتَ هَـٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَا يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ٦٢
ﭴ
ﭵ
ﭶ
ﭷ
ﭸ
ﭹ
ﭺ
They asked, “Was it you who did this to our gods, O Abraham?”

قال بل فعله كبيرهم هاذا فاسالوهم ان كانوا ينطقون ٦٣
قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُۥ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَـٰذَا فَسْـَٔلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا۟ يَنطِقُونَ ٦٣

ﭾ
ﭿ
ﮀ

ﮃ
ﮄ
He replied ˹sarcastically˺, “No, this one—the biggest of them—did it! So ask them, if they can talk!”

فرجعوا الى انفسهم فقالوا انكم انتم الظالمون ٦٤
فَرَجَعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ٦٤

So they came back to their senses, saying ˹to one another˺, “You yourselves are truly the wrongdoers!”

ثم نكسوا على رءوسهم لقد علمت ما هاولاء ينطقون ٦٥
ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ ٦٥

Then they ˹quickly˺ regressed to their ˹original˺ mind-set, ˹arguing,˺ “You already know that those ˹idols˺ cannot talk.”

قال افتعبدون من دون الله ما لا ينفعكم شييا ولا يضركم ٦٦
قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ ٦٦

He rebuked ˹them˺, “Do you then worship—instead of Allah—what can neither benefit nor harm you in any way?

اف لكم ولما تعبدون من دون الله افلا تعقلون ٦٧
أُفٍّۢ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ ٦٧
ﮣ
ﮤ
ﮥ
ﮦ
ﮧ
ﮨ
ﮩﮪ
ﮫ
ﮬ
ﮭ
Shame on you and whatever you worship instead of Allah! Do you not have any sense?”

قالوا حرقوه وانصروا الهتكم ان كنتم فاعلين ٦٨
قَالُوا۟ حَرِّقُوهُ وَٱنصُرُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ ٦٨

ﮯ
ﮰ
ﮱ
ﯓ
ﯔ
ﯕ
ﯖ
They concluded, “Burn him up to avenge your gods, if you must act.”

قلنا يا نار كوني بردا وسلاما على ابراهيم ٦٩
قُلْنَا يَـٰنَارُ كُونِى بَرْدًۭا وَسَلَـٰمًا عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٦٩

ﯘ
ﯙ
ﯚ
ﯛ
ﯜ
ﯝ
ﯞ
We ordered, “O fire! Be cool and safe for Abraham!”

وارادوا به كيدا فجعلناهم الاخسرين ٧٠
وَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ ٧٠

ﯢ
ﯣ
ﯤ
They had sought to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

ونجيناه ولوطا الى الارض التي باركنا فيها للعالمين ٧١
وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَـٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٧١

Then We delivered him, along with Lot, to the land We had showered with blessings for all people.

ووهبنا له اسحاق ويعقوب نافلة وكلا جعلنا صالحين ٧٢
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةًۭ ۖ وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا صَـٰلِحِينَ ٧٢

And We blessed him with Isaac ˹as a son˺ and Jacob ˹as a grandson˺, as an additional favour—making all of them righteous.
