الم نخلقكم من ماء مهين ٢٠

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ ٢٠

Did We not create you from a humble fluid,

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ ٢١

placing it in a secure place

الى قدر معلوم ٢٢

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ ٢٢

until an appointed time?¹

فقدرنا فنعم القادرون ٢٣

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ ٢٣

We ˹perfectly˺ ordained ˹its development˺. How excellent are We in doing so!

Have We not made the earth a lodging

احياء وامواتا ٢٦

أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا ٢٦

for the living and the dead,

وجعلنا فيها رواسي شامخات واسقيناكم ماء فراتا ٢٧

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا ٢٧

ﭱ

ﭲ

ﭳ

ﭴ

ﭵ

ﭶ

ﭷ

and placed upon it towering, firm mountains, and given you fresh water to drink?

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٨

انطلقوا الى ما كنتم به تكذبون ٢٩

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٢٩

ﮁ

ﮂ

˹The disbelievers will be told,˺ “Proceed into that ˹Fire˺ which you used to deny!

انطلقوا الى ظل ذي ثلاث شعب ٣٠

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ ٣٠

ﮆ

ﮇ

ﮈ

ﮉ

Proceed into the shade ˹of smoke˺ which rises in three columns,

لا ظليل ولا يغني من اللهب ٣١

لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ٣١

ﮐ

providing neither coolness nor shelter from the flames.

انها ترمي بشرر كالقصر ٣٢

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ٣٢

Indeed, it hurls sparks ˹as big˺ as huge castles,

كانه جمالت صفر ٣٣

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ ٣٣

ﮙ

and ˹as dark˺ as black camels.”¹

هاذا يوم لا ينطقون ٣٥

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ٣٥

On that Day they will not ˹be in a position to˺ speak,

ولا يوذن لهم فيعتذرون ٣٦

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ٣٦

nor will they be permitted to offer excuses.

هاذا يوم الفصل جمعناكم والاولين ٣٨

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٣٨

ﮮﮯ

ﮰ

ﮱ

ﯓ

˹They will be told by Allah,˺ “This is the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision: We have gathered you along with earlier disbelievers ˹for punishment˺.

فان كان لكم كيد فكيدون ٣٩

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ ٣٩

So if you have a scheme ˹to save yourselves˺, then use it against Me.”

ﯣ

Indeed, the righteous will be amid ˹cool˺ shade and springs

وفواكه مما يشتهون ٤٢

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ٤٢

and any fruit they desire.

كلوا واشربوا هنييا بما كنتم تعملون ٤٣

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٤٣

ﯪ

ﯫ

ﯬ

ﯭ

ﯮ

˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink happily for what you used to do.”

انا كذالك نجزي المحسنين ٤٤

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ٤٤

Surely this is how We reward the good-doers.

كلوا وتمتعوا قليلا انكم مجرمون ٤٦

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ٤٦

ﯽ

“Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while, ˹for˺ you are truly wicked.”

When it is said to them, “Bow down ˹before Allah,” they do not bow.
